Partnerships associate

Join a supportive, collaborative sales and account managing team in a growing conveyancing business.

Overview

Base salary: £25,000

OTE after 1 year: £40,000 (£25k base + £15k commission)

Juno is a modern law firm specialising in residential conveyancing and operating throughout England and Wales. We complete thousands of sale, purchase and remortgage transactions each year, and we’re trusted with panel membership by over 80 mortgage lenders. We’re rated as one of the best conveyancing firms in the UK by our clients (4.9/5 on Trustpilot) and estate agents and brokers frequently tell us how much they enjoy working with us.

Our partnerships channel is growing rapidly and we’re actively hiring Partnership Development Associates to join our growing Partnerships team in a sales and account management capacity. We’re looking for highly motivated and creative problem solvers, with a background in business development or telephone sales, and ideally with some experience in estate agency or conveyancing. This is a fully remote role, which can be full time or part time, and we’ll provide all the equipment, training and support you need to succeed.

About Juno: we make conveyancing simpler, clearer and faster

Our innovative approach ensures faster transaction times - we typically reach exchange of contracts 6-8 weeks faster than traditional law firms. Clients enjoy a fully online experience and a streamlined conveyancing process. Estate agents and mortgage brokers benefit from detailed and regular status updates, so everyone is well-informed and can help make their transactions progress smoothly.

Estate agents and mortgage brokers are uniquely positioned to refer conveyancing work to us, given that they’re in daily contact with home buyers and sellers. Our offer to estate agents centres on providing them with regular, automated updates on their transactions. These updates let them know what we’ve done and what we’ll do next, as well as highlight anything they can do to help progress the case (eg helping us to chase other parties for more information). Agents and brokers also receive their sale commission sooner (we exchange 6-8 weeks faster than average) and we pay competitive referral fees on every case.

About this role

You’ll work with our Head of Partnerships to identify high potential estate agents and mortgage brokers and ensure we become their preferred partners for conveyancing referrals. This will give our firm a reliable source of high quality leads, that we can turn into high value clients through effective and timely work from our outbound sales team.

On a typical day you’ll be mostly making phone calls to estate agents and mortgage brokers. When starting out, these will be calls to new agents and brokers with the aim of setting up new referral relationships. Some of these calls will be to agents or brokers that have worked with Juno before, while others will be to agents or brokers that haven’t yet heard about Juno. As you progress in the role, you’ll also be doing regular check-in calls with each of your existing referrers. You’ll be working within a small, supportive partnerships team, with each person responsible for originating and maintaining their own relationships with referrers.

This is a fully remote, work-from-home role with some flexibility to the working hours and the option to work part time (minimum 3 full days a week) or full time (5 days a week, 9am-6pm). It may involve some (very occasional) travel by mutual agreement. We’ll provide all the equipment you need, and get you up to speed quickly on what we do and how we work – that way you’ll be able to provide a compelling and exciting picture of what Juno can do for potential referral partners, and provide effective account management support to them once they become referral partners.

The package on offer includes a competitive base salary (£25k) and commission payments tied to transaction volumes originated by referral partners (monthly). Based on the performance of our current team, we expect a new joiner to accrue new referral partners at a rate that would result in ~£1.5k/month commission payments by the end of the first year, with unlimited upside to continue growing partners and commission beyond that. We also offer an employer funded pension scheme as well as 25 days paid holiday (plus bank holidays).

We work hard to make Juno a great place to work. We regularly take stock of how things are going for every team – and learn from what people share. That feedback has helped us become more transparent and better-connected internally, and it’s also helped us make more fundamental changes to improve our client, referrer and team member experience.

About you

  • Experience in a sales or business development capacity is required, especially contacting and converting ‘cold’ leads (over the phone or in person).
  • Prior knowledge or experience of conveyancing or estate agency is beneficial but certainly not required; we’re looking for people who are keen to get stuck in and learn, and who will grow from the knowledge of the rest of the team.
  • We’ll provide all the equipment you need, including a laptop and a large screen - you’ll just need a good internet connection, and somewhere quiet to work.
  • Please note that if you’ve got pre-school children, then you’ll need to arrange childcare during the hours that you’re working for Juno.

We want to hear from you
